A piping bag is one of the easiest, yet most important, kitchen tools available when it comes to entertaining. It helps you create amazing-looking appetizers and desserts, even if they are pre-made. In fact, the Phylo cups and brownies, in these photos, were pre-made.
To create these designs we used the Star Tip with our piping bag. Click here to read our blog featuring these recipes!

Did you know fried chicken pairs perfectly with Champagne or Sparkling Wine? Choose from our wide variety in store and online or ask any Celebration Specialist for help with the perfect pairing!
Start with boneless skinless chicken tenderloins. Soak them in Low-Fat Buttermilk overnight.
The next day prepare your breading as follows:
peanut oil
cornstarch
salt
white pepper
granulated garlic
cayenne
dried thyme
Heat your oil to 350F. Keep the temp with a thermometer. Take your chicken straight from the buttermilk into the cornstarch mixture. Fry until they float about 5-6 minutes. Take them out and toss them in some coarse sea salt.
Game Night can also be the kind you plan around your favorite sports team. Here are some great pairing ideas to consider.
RISK ON THE ROCKS
DIRECTIONS
Fill a large rocks glass with ice.
Stir in the gin, Campari, and vermouth.
Garnish with orange wheel.
Fizz Whizz
Combine vodka, sloe gin, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake until well combined. Refrigerate and serve from large container or punch bowl. Makes 12 servings.
To serve: Fill a highball glass with ice.
Fill ¾ full with mixture and top off with club soda. For a lighter drink, make the mixture 50/50. Garnish with a lime slice.
Variation: Replace club soda with Toso Argentina Brut sparkling wine, if you’re a risky gamer!
PRO TIP: This recipe is very easy to double or triple; make large batches the day before the games begin.
MYTHE – THE RED DRAGON
Add the gin, vodka, rum and Gran Gala to an ice filled shaker. Shake vigorously for a good 10 seconds to marry all flavors. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass, being careful to leave room to top with grenadine.
Add grenadine and swirl until desired color is achieved. Do this slowly – the coloring happens gradually.
Garnish with lime wheel.
THE STACKED DECK
Fill a highball glass with ice.
Add Meyer’s rum and bitters.
Top off with ginger beer.
Garnish with lime wedge.
