Rising in popularity in the early 2000’s to the nationwide boom in the 2010’s, craft brewing has gone from the hot new thing to a staple. New breweries are constantly popping up with their own unique take on brewing and hop selection that aim to take your taste buds by storm.

The great thing is that right here in Arkansas there are fantastic breweries that can give you a tour of all of the possibilities with their varied beer selection.

Here are five Arkansas breweries and their signature beers.

Lost Forty

Established in 2014, Lost Forty has been brewing beer in Little Rock and is always searching for new flavors. With well-known specialties such as 2nd Rodeo and Rockhound, they have established themselves as a staple in many bars.

Perhaps one of their biggest hits is Love Honey Bock. A year-round staple brewed with Arkansas honey for creamy complexity and rich caramel notes.

Flyway

Another Little Rock favorite is Flyway. Started in 2012 with the concept of food trucks and beer, they soon expanded to a full kitchen along with their brewery and have been a staple ever since.

Known as much for their food as their beer, Bluewing Berry Wheat Ale is one of their best-selling beers. With strong blueberry notes rolling into a slightly tart wheat ale it is no wonder that this is a favorite.

Ozark Beer Co.

Just up the road in Rogers, Ozark Beer Co. got their start in 2013 with the motto of “hard work, honest beer.” Their beers definitely live up to that with their core beer selection being as affordable as they are delicious.

Their Cream Stout is a fantastic example of this. Designed as a smooth, accessible year-round stout, the notes of coffee and chocolate entice without overwhelming.

Point Remove

In Morrilton you have Point Remove which has constantly sought new ventures and flavors. Starting with a solid selection of beers that they perfected before moving to distribution, they have also moved into cider, wine, and pizza.

Never forgetting that their quality is what keeps them going, their Native Lager is the perfect beer for enjoying the Natural State. Crisp, clean, and refreshing this beer is an ode to tradition with an Arkansas twist.

New Province

In 2022 New Province Brewing moved to its current home in Rogers and continues its mission of brewing traditional and innovative beers. With a focus on community as much as beer, New Province makes their taproom a meeting place of diverse ideas and culture with a stream of events and great food.

One of their flagship beers is Philosopher King, an IPA bursting with tropical fruit notes and piney finish. The perfect beer for any night.

There are many more breweries just getting started on their journeys here in Arkansas and we greatly look forward to what they produce.

Everyone has a different idea of what the Natural State means to them and these brewers show that in every beer they make. Their passion makes us proud to Celebrate Arkansas.

Cheers!
